YTWO MEDIA LLC is a company based in Los Angeles, California, established in 2019 by film director Yiyang Xu and producer/entrepreneur Kai Chandra.
Since ancient times, our ancestors have shared stories around the fire. Every story that has been told becomes part of the history. The story condenses people together, it is a collective experience among people. Today, film and other visual content are storytellings. The light on the audiences faces coming from the screen in the dark theater, connect the firelight on the face of the ancestors. Films capture our history, educate us, stimulate our imagination and inspire our collective spirit. Films are our cultural heritage.

Yiyang Xu
Yiyang Xu is a director, writer, and producer. During her undergraduate years, she focused on cinematography. As director of photography, she won the best cinematography at 48 hours film festival. Yiyang is a producer and a script supervisor for her bachelor’s capstone film, Standard Definition, which won Best Long-Form Fiction in the Student Emmy Award, the Ohio Valley Region. In her master year, she was chosen to lead her cohort as the producer of thesis film, Lucid. She led a successful crowdfunding campaign, assembled and managed a crew of sixty-eight. Yiyang has been working as director and writer for several award-winning shorts. Her goal is to write and direct film on the big screen, and to tell stories that inspired others.
Kai Chandra
Kai is a producer, storyteller and a visionary for the future of media. He has extensive producing and strategizing transmedia platforms such as Youtube, Instagram and Facebook. He is also very well connected with huge networks and vast resources in the industry. Kai has been at the center stage of today’s dynamic convergence of social media, tech, business and entertainment in the last decade. Kai’s vision is to take his immense knowledge for potential generational content and media business development to its next level of consumer enjoyment.
